Warranty Policy For Printer, Labeller Repairs and Maintenance Services.

Xtreme IT Solutions Sdn Bhd warrants all sales of printers, labeller and spare parts against manufacture defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. These warranties also applicable to all repairs and maintenance works, with the following :
Before Service
  1. We shall have the absolute rights to dispose of any serviced printer not collected by customer within 30 days from the notified date of collection;
  2. Parts or hardware installed or replaced are strictly non-refundable;
  3. A minimum diagnostic fee of RM30.00 will be charged to customer if the customer does not wish to proceed further with the service after the faulty printer has undergone diagnosis;
  4. Warranty claim of a faulty printer is subject to the proper and ordinary use of the printer and does not cover printer which has been modified without the printer manufacturer’s written approval, or which has been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress.
  5. Warranty claim of a faulty printer is considered null and void in the following event:-
      • Customer’s negligence or misuse or failure to operate the printer in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or for the intended purposes; or
      • Any alteration, modification or tampering of the printer (whether on hardware or software) by a party not authorized by printer’s manufacturer; or
      • Printer’s damage is caused by the use of any Non-Genuine or Non-Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s supplies/ consumable items such as ribbons, toner, papers, printer heads, printwheels, platens, battery units, etc; or
      • Any damage or tampering of the serial number of the printer, or any alteration to the warranty certificate or warranty registration number of the printer or the proof of purchase; or
      • Any damage arising from failure or neglect to maintain the optimum environmental conditions such as air quality, humidity or temperature.
  6. We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of anticipated profits, loss of goodwill or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages throughout the service period of the printer.
  7. We shall be entitled to charge customer for mileage charges at RM1.00 per kilometre in the event we are requested to travel for more than 35 kilometres in aggregate to provide our services.
  8. Service charges will be imposed on customer for the repair of printer which is no longer under warranty or when customer is unable to present the relevant proof of purchase, and in the event the said charges is not made by the customer to us within 14 days from the date of our invoice, we shall have the right to withhold the printer and to charge late payment interest at 5% per annum on the outstanding sum from the date of our invoice until full payment is made or when the printer is disposed of, whichever applicable.
  9. All service charges or fees incurred by customers must be paid in cash only
After Service
  1. Our services are deemed to have been fully carried out, and if there are any complains pertaining to the services provided by us, it shall be made in writing to us, within fourteen (14) days from the date hereof, and the receipt of which must be acknowledged by us. Otherwise you are deemed to be fully satisfied with the services provided by us herein.
  2. To ensure the printer stays in good working condition, customer undertakes:-
    • Not to make any modifications to the printer;
    • To use the printer in accordance with the operating instructions or manuals furnished by the manufacturer;
    • Not to install any inappropriate hardware, software or any Non-Genuine or Non-Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s supplies/ consumable items such as ribbons, toner, papers, printer heads, printwheels, platens, mouse and magnetic recording media, battery units, etc which could potentially damage the printer.
  3. Warranty claim of a faulty printer is considered null and void in the following event:-
    • Customer’s negligence or misuse or failure to operate the printer in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or for the intended purposes; or
    • Any alteration, modification or tampering of the printer (whether on hardware or software) by a party not authorized by printer’s manufacturer; or
    • Printer’s damage is caused by the use of any Non-Genuine or Non-Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s supplies/ consumable items such as ribbons, toner, papers, printer heads, printwheels, platens, battery units, etc; or
    • Any damage or tampering of the serial number of the printer, or any alteration to the warranty certificate or warranty registration number of the printer or the proof of purchase; or
    • Any damage arising from failure or neglect to maintain the optimum environmental conditions such as air quality, humidity or temperature.
  4. We shall only be liable to the customer for any loss or damages (whether in contract or in tort) arising solely out of or in connection with our negligence in servicing the printer.
